How do I switch from my current provider to NOW Broadband?
Switching to NOW Broadband couldn't be easier. Just select your broadband and calls, we'll tell you if you can get it near you. We'll do all the heavy lifting and take care of switching your current provider. So you can sit back and relax.
Do I need a technician visit?
This depends on whether you have an existing telephone connection. If not, we'll arrange a technician visit for you within a few weeks of placing your order for NOW Broadband. If you need a technician to install a phone line, we'll reserve one for you when you order broadband NOW. The lead time depends on the availability of a technician, but usually takes a few weeks. If you already have a telephone connection, a technician's visit is not necessary. We change your bandwidth automatically. This happens within two weeks of your order.

If you would like to keep your current phone number, please select "Yes, keep my current number" when confirming your broadband order and we will do our best to transfer it. If we are unable to save your phone number, we will let you know. You can also forward your email from your old broadband address to your new address and transfer it between your email contacts.
Note: Email can only be forwarded from accounts that support POP access. Check with your current provider to see if you can keep your existing email account.
There are two different types of broadband speed:
Connection speed to your hub, also known as access line speed. If you have broadband NOW, this is the maximum speed between your local telephone exchange and your hub. This speed depends on how far you live from the center.
If you have fiber broadband NOW, distance to the switch is not important. However, the distance from your home to the local (usually green) street distributor can affect your connection speed.
Speed on your devices:
Also known as your transmission speed. This will be lower than the speed on your hub as it is affected by factors such as the layout of your home, whether you are using a Wi-Fi connection and the number of devices connected to your network. Fluctuating broadband speeds in the first ten days:
To offer you a reliable broadband connection from day one, we ensure a good mix of speed and stability right from the start. We will then test and reconfigure your line to achieve the best performance. This process can take up to ten days. During those first 10 days, you may notice some fluctuations in your speed and your connection may be choppy at times. That is normal. The most important thing is to keep your NOW Hub Two powered on 24/7 during this time. We can then obtain the necessary information about your connection and choose the best settings for your connection.
If you sign up for our no contract option, you can cancel at any time with no penalty.
